With standard-definition TVs, the rule for the audience not to say that they feel comfortable, by providing a set distance in a 3-6 times the size of the screen in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is much better that you sit so close to a larger TV without the pixels. So with HD-TV, the rule should be, you can be anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the size of the screen (inches) for the best experience.

These rules were developed to help you to say where in the course of your new TV. Do you see a different way: You know, the size of the space that you already have if you want, and where your new HDTV should, as soon as you receive it. The size should be your TV?

Make the calculations back, you receive the following formula:

Show the minimum size = distance / 3

Maximum display = distance/1.5

Make that mathematics may be entitled to an unusual size numbers, so if we in the community for Mathematics in the HDTV format, we get this table practice:

If the TV, you need to make your room is 40 inches or less, an LCD flat-screen TV is your best bet. Between 42 and 60 inches, you have the choice between plasma, LCD or rear projector. HD Plasma TV are usually the most popular choice in this series because they offer a good image quality and flat panel tempo. LCD prices are now competitive with the plasma in the years 40 – to 46-inch, but generally not more than 52-inches – and in this size, they can be quite expensive.

Rear-TV, such as DLPs or televisions with 3LCD overhead slide, are often considered the best price for this wide-screen TV. These games provide an excellent picture, but the HD-TV flat screen on the 4-inch thick, the rear projection models are 10 inches (on the side very satisfied) to 16 inches – so that you can not not be suspended for an hour of your wall. It turns out that most flat-panel HDTV buyers do not stop the bracket on the wall is. Another option background projection LCOS (liquid crystal on silicon). This technology is known for the quality of image and it is only now with full 1080p resolution models. LCOS is a generic term, the two different implementations of this technology can be found on Amazon.com, the HD-ILA TV JVC and the games offered by the Sony SXRD. While there are slight technical differences between the two, both offer excellent picture quality.

If you’re really great with your TV (it’s OK, it should not be ashamed to admit), you are in search of a model of the projection, the rear or front, a model for projection. Background-projection models (including LCD, DLP and LCOS) are up to 70 inches (a little bigger on certain brands). This is a very large TV. Please your room in the first instance examine the dimensions of the template you want, and make sure that the situation is really to install. For larger screens of 70 inches, you need a front projector, also known as a home theater projector or a projector for entertainment at home. These are but they sound like they are the picture like a movie projector. The available technologies are the same as for normal rear projection televisions. If you have a home theater projector, you will also need to think on the screen, you are in the projection. Remember also that the home cinema projectors are not compatible with TV tuner, which is actually just an image to project. For television, you need your projector tuner and / or DVD player. At this size, seriously consider the intensification of the HD DVD or Blu-ray for your movie needs. At least you should make sure that you have an upconverting DVD drive. Images in standard definition looks pretty poor in size. And do not forget, if you want a view from the front, you need a screen.
